Collaboration with Dara Breeze
- Fall 2020
Hi! I'm Camila 👋
Each pair of Moody & Co. beaded earrings is handcrafted by me, Camila Wilde, in beautiful Bellingham, Washington. In 2018, I was designing socks for a local sock company, ModSocks, and craved to work in pixel beyond a computer screen. Driven by a gut feeling, I picked up beads at my local bead store (shout out to Oasis Bead Lounge!) and have been in love with the medium ever since. I make it my mission to honor the tradition of bead weaving by making pieces that possess their own unique voice. I am inspired by pop culture, the internet, activism, emojis, and unabashed silliness.
Beaded jewelry made to last
Designed & handmade in Bellingham, WA. Moody & Co. pieces are woven with glass beads, super strong fishing line and a needle. The glass seed beads feel luxurious and playful when you run them through your fingers.

Why beaded jewelry?
Bead weaving is a technique known world-wide with regional roots in Indigenous cultures. Art forms across cultures is meant to be shared and interpreted, but not lost. With all due respect to the tradition of beading, Moody & Co. translates the medium of beads into a contemporary and honorary landscape. Inspired by 70s - 90s fashion, Moody & Co. handmade pieces grab the attention most of the bold and youthful at heart meanwhile pay homage to one of the oldest feminine art forms. 5% of total profits are donated to rotating non-profits specifically benefitting local Indigenous people in the greater Seattle area including Solid Ground Washington and Lummi Nation.
