The Sonia earrings are inspired by the drawings & paintings of French-Ukrainian abstract artist Sonia Delaunay.
Sonia Delaunay was the first woman to have a retrospective exhibit at the Louvre. She co-founded the art movements Orphism & Simultanism which are based on theories that the use of color has musical and movement qualities. Dalaunay made paintings, sculptures, designed costumes, & even designed the paint jobs of classic cars.
The Sonia earrings swing & move with every stride you make meanwhile pay homage to the timeless work of one of the most interdisciplinary female artist of the 21st century.
